Freemason’s ? Knights Templar?
Posted by adminAug 8
Freemason’s, are they truly the Knights Templar? Or should the question be more accurately stated are the Knights Templar truly the Freemason’s?

The Freemasons have been since there inception extremely controversial figures of history and lore. It’s a well known fact that many Freemasons played prominent rolls in the revolution and the founding of the United Stats. In addition to there is strong evidence to the same in the French revolution. It should be mentioned that after the King of France head was cut from his body during the beginning of the French revolution. An unknown man, jumped up and grabbed the severed Kings head and raised high above and exclaimed Jacques de Molay you are avenged.
What does that mean?
Jacques de Molay you are avenged?

Picture of Jacques de Molay
Jacques de Molay was the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar when King Phillip the far of France and Pope Clement V conspired against the order of the temple on Friday the 13th 1307. And yes that is why Friday the 13 is unlucky. That’s what started that whole legend.
Was this man who exclaimed Jacques de Molay you are avenged a Freemason? Was he a Knights Templar, Unknown! But the event was recorded for posterity and the fact is, is this that the Knights Templar was attacked by the Pope and the King of France on Friday the 13th 1307 and the French revolution took place at the beginning on 14th of July 1789.
That’s 482 years apart from one another. And there was a prominent group at the time that was a secret society and was known for revolutions and that group was the Free and Accepted Masons of the Accent and Accepted Scottish Rite, other wise known as the Freemasons. Now there is 32 degree’s in the Scottish Rite and 1 that is an honorary degree which is the 33 degree. Each degree is about the Knights Templar in one way or another. Also in the York Rite of Freemasonry accumulates in the order of the Temple where the Freemason is knighted as a Knights Templar. Each of these to branches of Freemasonry comes out of the basic Master Mason lodge. After you have been raised as a Master mason you can joined ether the Scottish Rite, or the York Rite, or Both!
Now why would one group of men be so involved with the history and knowledge of the Knights Templar’s? When they where attacked by the Catholic Church and persecuted by that same church so many years later. I will finish this in the next post this week with some very interesting facts.

Brother Sir Knight, this is very well written, my chapeau is off to the way you so firmly placed all of the elements together, with out sounding as if you were trying to defend something you knew nothing about
